Email summaries, call records, and calendar booking
Your receptionist sends call details by email and app push notification, keeps records in your dashboard, and can book appointments into Google Calendar using the business information you provide.

Email and app push notifications give you a summary, urgency tag, transcript, and recording for each call. A daily digest email brings the day's calls together, while the dashboard keeps call records and settings available for review.
Appointment booking into Google Calendar is available at launch. If you prefer to arrange a meeting yourself, your receptionist can take the caller's details for a callback. Hear an arrangement inquiry in the browser call demo, then consider which information your staff would need to enter into your funeral home software.
Passare, Osiris, FrontRunner, Gather, and SRS: current status
Passare, Osiris, FrontRunner, Gather, and SRS Computing have no direct connection to Funeral Answering Desk at launch. Tell us which software you use when discussing your setup.

There is no direct software connection for any of the five products listed here. Using one of them does not change how your receptionist answers, takes a message, or reaches your on-call director. Call information arrives through email, app push notifications, and your dashboard.
Your staff can use those summaries when entering information into the system your home already uses. Tell us the product name and the task you want a connection to support. We plan direct connections according to demand, without a promised release date for a particular product.
Use call summaries alongside your existing software
Review the call summary, check the transcript when you need detail, and enter the relevant information into your existing system. Any death report prompts caller name, callback number and the person's location, then immediate director contact before further intake.

A pre-need inquiry can arrive as a message for your staff to review and enter into your existing records. An appointment can be booked into Google Calendar, or the receptionist can collect details so you arrange the callback yourself.
Any death report, including removal requests, starts with caller name, callback number and the person's location, then on-call director contact at once: warm transfer if routing allows, a page otherwise or if unanswered. Only then does intake continue. Staff can review the record afterward. See how first calls are handled when deciding your instructions. This gives your home a defined response to the caller while staff retain responsibility for updating your case software.
Software requests help set connection priorities
We plan direct connections based on demand from funeral homes. Tell us which system you use and what information you want to move, so the request describes a practical task.

Demand guides which direct connections we plan to build. A useful request names your software and explains the work: entering a first-call message, recording a pre-need inquiry, or keeping appointment details with a case. Those examples describe requests, not available software connections.
You can share the request through our contact page. Until a connection is live, assess the service by its present call handling, summaries, dashboard, and calendar booking. A requested connection has no promised delivery date, so your current workflow should account for staff entering information into your chosen software.
FAQ
Does Funeral Answering Desk have a direct connection to Passare or Osiris?
No direct connection to Passare or Osiris is live at launch. Your receptionist sends call information by email and app push notification and keeps it in your dashboard. Your staff can review that information and enter the relevant details into the software your funeral home uses.
Can the receptionist book appointments without a case software connection?
Yes. Your receptionist can book appointments into Google Calendar, using the business information you provide during setup. If you prefer to arrange the appointment yourself, it can take the caller's details for your callback. Direct connections to funeral home case software are a separate feature and are not live yet.
How do I get messages if my software is not connected?
Each call generates an email and app push notification containing a summary, urgency tag, transcript, and recording. You can also review call records in the dashboard and receive a daily digest email. Staff use those records to decide what needs a callback and what to enter into your existing system.
Can it transfer an urgent call to the on-call director?
For other urgent calls, your receptionist can warm transfer or page your on-call person in your chosen order. For a warm transfer, that person hears a short summary and presses 1 to accept. Any death report, including removal requests, prompts caller name, callback number and the person's location, then immediate on-call director contact before further intake: warm transfer if routing allows, a page otherwise or if unanswered.
Can I keep my business phone number while using my current software?
You can keep your business number and forward all calls or selected calls to the receptionist. We provide a local number, a forwarding guide, and a test call before you go live. Your existing funeral home software remains part of your staff's workflow, with call summaries entered by your team.
Can I try the call handling before deciding about setup?
The browser demo needs no signup and uses a fictional funeral business. Try a first call, a price question, or a message for a director, then review how the receptionist responds. If that fits your home, request a free trial to supply your own business details during onboarding.
Try a call before choosing your workflow
Use the browser demo to hear the receptionist and review the call details. Request a free trial to supply your home's own instructions during setup.
